^This collection represents a retrospective of the last five years of painting. It brings to the surface the more rational side of the artist, disguised and satirized by her joyful shapes that emerge from deep lines. The accentuated forms subtly manifest the controversy, hypocrisy, and the drastic changes in lifestyle over the past years, for which we were unprepared.

_{A Coleção “Proximidade Vã” de 2021 foi integralmente desenvolvida sob inspiração literária de Adília Lopes, Camilo Pessanha, Daniel Faria, Daniel Jonas, Eduardo Lourenço, Eugénio de Andrade, Herberto Hélder, José Tolentino Mendonça, Raquel Serejo Martins, Vasco Gato, Virgílio Ferreira, Vinícius de Moraes e Walt Whitman; Transformando-se numa “Ode” que homenageia a literatura Portuguesa enquanto importante disseminadora da Cultura Portuguesa no Mundo. O nome do poeta Norte Americano Walt Whitman foi escolhido pela evidente influência na escrita de Eugénio de Andrade. Todos as pinturas da coleção têm, assim, um poema associado.} 

|| “Vain Proximity” (2021), was entirely developed under the literary inspiration of Adília Lopes, Camilo Pessanha, Daniel Faria, Daniel Jonas, Eduardo Lourenço, Eugénio de Andrade, Herberto Hélder, José Tolentino Mendonça, Raquel Serejo Martins, Vasco Gato, Virgílio Ferreira, Vinícius de Moraes and Walt Whitman; It becomes an “Ode” that honours Portuguese literature as an important disseminator of Portuguese culture in the world. The name of the North American poet Walt Whitman was chosen due to the evident influence on the writing of Eugénio de Andrade. All the paintings in the collection thus have an associated poem.
